Is the revenue management functionality built into the system?

  • Yes, the revenue management program running on ChoiceADVANTAGE is an automated performance management tool. Analyze the history of previous reservations, available reservations, rejections, and cancellations to predict future occupancy and set minimum prices (or tariff barriers) to optimize hotel revenue. Although revenue management is automatic, the property can quickly and easily adapt to changing market conditions if required.
  • Revenue management is not a tool that modifies prices but rather limits discounts based on demand. Revenue Management sets minimum prices that are synchronized with the Choice Central Reservation System (CRS) to optimize performance management across all sales channels.

Are preliminary and defined group blocks taken into account in the demand forecast?

  • Rooms reserved in a group block are treated as individual reservations and count as individual reservations if there is a demand forecast.
  • The hotel can form a group temporarily or permanently. The preliminary status offers the possibility of closing rooms. The part block is normally only available if the group is in the Defined state.

What prices/stocks are in sync?

All prices and room types are in sync between CRS and ChoiceADVANTAGE.
What transaction codes are available on ChoiceADVANTAGE?

The system offers around 70 transaction codes with which hotels can easily and accurately track their activities. During the initial setup process, the owner / general manager selects the transaction codes required by the hotel.
